Charles Lindbergh was the guest of honor at a dinner at the Ansley Hotel on October 11, 1927. Standing, left to right: Donald Keyhoe, a representative of the Guggenheim Foundation (and sponsor of Lindbergh's U.S. tour); Eugene R. Black, toastmaster; Lindbergh; Henderson Hallman, chair of local arrangements for Lindbergh Day; Georgia governor Lamartine Hardman; and Atlanta mayor Isaac N. Ragsdale.
