World War I-Era Hangar
Army personnel pose with a Curtiss JN-4 Jenny biplane at the entrance of a hangar on Souther Field, circa 1918. The planes
were shipped in crates to the rail depot at the edge of Souther Field and assembled by mechanics in the hangars.
